Four top Houston interior designers will speak at the October Access Design event, on topics important to creating beautiful and functional living spaces.
The quarterly event, co-hosted by the Houston Design District and Houston Chronicle, will be 4-6 p.m. Oct. 7 and 10 a.m.-noon Oct. 8 at Meredith O’Donnell, 7150 Old Katy Road. Tickets are $10; falldesignweek2021
Though usually a stand-alone event, this one will be part of Fall Design Week, conducted by the Houston Design District. The next Access Design will be Dec. 9-10.
On Oct. 7, Talbot Cooley of Talbot Cooley Interiors will speak on “Form and Function for Everyday Living,” followed by Janus Lazaris of the Janus Design Group on “From Traditional to Transitional: Mixing Styles to Create a Unique Home.”
On Oct. 8, Laura Manchee of Laura Manchee Designs will speak on “Staying Power: A Thoughtful Approach to Personalized Design,” followed by Kelly Gale Amen of Kelly Gale Amen Design on “The Art of Living/Living With Art.”
