DENTON – University of North Texas Athletics announced today the launch of the Paramount program, designed to equip student-athletes with the knowledge and skills they need to benefit from the use of their name, image and likeness.

Paramount will feature a partnership with INFLCR and the INFLCR Verified product suite, which will equip Mean Green student-athletes and staff with the resources to succeed in the upcoming NIL era.

The goal of the Paramount program is to educate Mean Green student-athletes on current legislation, assist them in the process of building their personal brand and empower them with tools to develop their own potential business opportunities.

"We are excited to announce the launch of the Paramount program and partnership with INFLCR to assist our student-athletes in building their personal brand and ultimately maximize opportunities for their future," said UNT Vice President and Director of Athletics Wren Baker.  "This multifaceted initiative reinforces our commitment to Building Champions and Preparing Leaders here at UNT."

"We are incredibly excited to partner with North Texas and bring the INFLCR Compliance Exchange to all student-athletes to foster countless opportunities in monetizing their NIL in this new era for college sports," said INFLCR Founder and CEO Jim Cavale. "With INFLCR Verified, Mean Green athletes are connected to an ever-growing menu of digital, endorsement, product and training marketplaces while also being ensured their transactions will record compliantly to their institutions."

Paramount will position student-athletes for personal and professional growth outside of the classroom and training and playing facilities through workshops and educational experiences utilizing multiple platforms. Key areas of focus will include education on state and NCAA legislation regarding NIL, personal branding strategies, foundations of business and financial literacy, and managing permissible opportunities related to name, image, and likeness.

Mean Green student-athletes will benefit from the vast expertise available to them on the UNT campus, in the Denton community and the greater Dallas-Fort Worth market.

Texas recently passed legislation that allows college student-athletes in the state to be compensated for the use of their name, image or likeness, effective July 1, 2021.

INFLCR Verified

How It Works

INFLCR provides college athletic departments with the content delivery and compliance platform to assist NCAA athletics programs in the management and monitoring of student-athlete Name, Image, and Likeness activities. INFLCR's Verified suite of products ensures student-athletes are provided the tools, content, financial literacy, and more to participate in upcoming opportunities from NIL legislation.

Powered by flagship new products like the Compliance Exchange administrator dashboard and Storyteller Playbook video library, INFLCR Verified enhances the student-athlete experience by offering a comprehensive solution for responsible brand-building on social media, as well as a fully compliant path to external commercial activity from NIL.

Athletic programs are adopting this approach to educate and prepare staff and student-athletes for new opportunities and complexities from upcoming NIL legislation, aiming to ultimately provide best-case scenarios for student-athletes who will soon look to participate in monetization activities from their NIL.

INFLCR Core

How It Works

INFLCR's platform helps college and university athletic departments send internal media and national photography content to personalized galleries for each of their athletes, coaches and other brand ambassadors.

Those athletes and brand ambassadors are able to access their content galleries through the INFLCR mobile app, and can then share the content to their personal social media accounts.

After the fact, schools are able to measure the increased audience engagement coming from the much-larger collective audience of those athletes and brand ambassadors.

Athletic departments use this approach to bolster their online presence in a way that impacts event attendance, recruiting, fundraising, and other strategic goals.
